I've had this book sitting on my TBR for a long time. I had put off reading it for a few reasons, but the most notable reasons being that: 1) I am not a sports fan - at all- and I was worried I wouldn't enjoy it since this story was centered on two athletes; and 2) I was worried that I'd be disappointed after reading so many fantastic reviews for this book. Now that I've read it, I can say that neither of those concerns ended up coming to fr

This was my first book by this author. It was different than I`m used to, but great. Well, I have to admit it had a slow start for me, but after 30% in, I couldn`t put it down anymore. I loved the slow burning romance between characters. Kulti was an ass as the beginning, but it soon warmed my heart. I can`t belive how strong his will was about holding back and not admitting his feelings for her until the end. And it goes the same for Sal. Football, really!!

Yes, football. I've never cared for football but after reading all about Sal and her Reindeer, I'm in!!. This was another fabulous book by MZ, the relationship between the two leads was amazing, the friendship to love build up was riveting, now I want someone whispering sweet German words in my ear.

This was exactly what I needed right now. A nice slow burn. This is my second book I've read of Ms. Zapata's and it won't be the last. I love that both W.O.W and Kulti focus on character and the building of a relationship based on more than attraction and sex. This one was a little more anti-climactic to me, but I don't think it mattered. Some readers may not like that, though. This was a quiet romance, but memorable.
