A bit soft

For a mafia book and one that follows Carter Reed, this story seemed a bit soft. Yes there is still the killer instinct but it lacked intensity and the drama of the the mafia lifestyle. Cole is still sexy in that dangerous way and you can see why he falls for Addy because she is beautiful and vulnerable. I enjoy Tijan's books but this one appeared a bit rushed and the ending could have given a bit more closer. ...more

oh cole can i please have a carter and cole sandwich lol ....i really liked tgis who dosnt love a mafia love story i got a bit of carter in there to boot hot mob guy maddness great story cant wait for carter 3 hopefully more cole and addison in that one x
