It is true what they say: There is a first time for everything.

Cause this is the ninth book of Tijan I have read this far and it is the first I didn't like.

It is such an intense feeling and it took me by surprise to be honest.

I was really excited to read Cole, like I am every time I get to read one of her books, and I was disappointed. I expected more. More from Cole, more from Addison, more from the story in general. It fell flat and died a lo ...more

Tijan is one of my top favourite one-click authors, her Fallen Crest series got me back into reading, every book she writes gets better and better. I loved Carter Reed when I read that and I was intrigued by Cole Mauricio so was very excited to see he was getting his own book.

This book is such a hot, sexy, intriguing read full of hot sizzling chemistry and suspense that keeps you at the edge of your seat wondering what will happen.

Freaking wonderful book! Cole rocks!!

OMG! Another superfantabulously amazing book from Tijan!! Seriously, could Cole be any more wonderful?!?! The head of a mafia family with a heart of gold! I loved Carter Reed, but Cole is so vicious and lethal, but still so dang lovable! He's definitely one of my favorite characters from any of Tijan's books!
If you haven't read the Carter Reed books, I'd recommend reading them first (They're wonderful too!), as hey give some background into Cole and his life. ...more

Slow to start. Ending was better. I felt the writing in her other books carter reed and reed 2 were better and enjoyed the plots more.

Loved it! Enjoyed this book more than Carter Reed. Kept me on my toes and more enticed. I highly recommend. Like so many more of Tijan’s books it’s a fab read and definitely doesn’t disappoint!
