Chosen begins when Shanti is on the verge of dying. She's the "Chosen One" but she doesn't want to go on, she just wants it to be over. But along the way she gets saved by a group of men and brought to a new place to stay. She had no idea what she would find when she got there, but it wasn't another person like her, and it wasn't a land where the woman are completely different from her own homeland. well written, enjoyable just not my thing. Can't explain it any other way. I just could not connect to the spark in the book. IT IS REALLY GOOD but not good enough for me to thirst to read the next book in the series.
