4-4.5 stars. I wasn't sure what to make of Amber at first. I understood why she was insecure and kept her guard up, leaving her pretty oblivious to Liam's attention. I know she was 16, and sometimes she seemed more immature than her age and other times it was like she fast forwarded to a seducing vixen and then she was a shy virgin in between. When I first found this book I had mixed feelings of whether or not to buy it. I loved the concept of the story but the writing wasn't what I thought it could be. Sometimes the writing is what draws me into a story. But again, the idea of it was great so I read the book. I loved Liam's character. I loved how protective he was of Amber. He'd been in love with Amber for so many years, but he had never told her.

The story of Amber and Liam is definitely emotional and will have you turning pages trying to get to the end. Amber has lived in fear but finds solace in an unlikely place. Emotional and physically unable to connect with guys, Amber is unlikely to find someone. This is a story where the female character slowly gathers strength and you can't help but cheer. This is a must read.

One of the best books I have ever read, I wish there could be more books like this one!!!! It is truly AMAZING! it is one of those books where I would totally read again :D looking forward in reading other Kirsty Moseley's books..
