This is a beautiful story. Brittainy gives us a heart wrenching love story and I couldn't out it down. Tristan and Elizabeth are so broken and cracked when they meet that I didn't think it would be possible for them to love. But boy do they love, not only each other but the people, and dogs, around them. The twist to the story I also didn't see coming, you think you know but you don't. This book brought out many different feelings for me, I could feel Tristan and Elizabeth's struggle to move forward, their hurt, and then wanting to give in and try again but always faltering. Some of the flashbacks are so difficult to read and my heart just broke while the tears flowed down my face. This book had so much potential to be a 5+ star review for me. It is a story that makes you feel every emotion however, some of timelines didn't add up to me, the last 20% was a complete wreck and then it was wrapped up in a bow. When I say a wreck, I mean way over the top drama that really was just far fetched and way too coincidental. With that said this book was amazing (reason for the 4 stars)
