Su nombre sabía a fuego y a alas, a volutas de humo, a sutileza y a fuerza, y al rasposo susurro de las escamas.

I recall reading a sampler for this book and being really intrigued. I wasn't able to read this book until much later, but it delivered on that promise wholeheartedly!
I loved this fantasy take on a new to me fairytale. It took turns I wasn't expecting. I wasn't sure if it was a romance more than an epic fantasy tale, but it had everything I love in spades. There is was humor, action, romance, tragedy, and adventure. It made for one extremely hard to put down book.

Tenía muchas esperanzas puestas en este libro y no me ha fallado.
Un cuento oscuro, relata una historia mágica, cautivadora y divertida que me atrapó y no he podido dejar de leer ni un momento (aunque se supone que tenía que estar estudiando xd). Me ha gustado especialmente que el trama amoroso no sea el centro de la historia, sin que resultara poco.
Si quieres una historia original, bien estructurada y con un final cerrado, este es tu libro.
