A quick review for once :-)

When I buy a Tijan book, I do it because:

-I want high school or college romance -> got it here;

-I want female characters that have been hurt one way or another in the past and used to or wanting to "stay on the outskirts" as opposed to "be in the light" -> Kennedy has been hurt the past year. She's been used for her brother's fame and does not want to get noticed anymore;

-I want some plot and conspiracy in the background. Usually a "rival" jealous of the heroine or wan ...more

Around the end of June I had a friend recommend the Fallen Crest Series to me. I had been in a book slump. I literally read the series twice in about 8 days. I knew that this author was going to shoot to my favorites list after the first 2 chapters of the first book. She definitely has a way with words. I have been working my way through her books ever since. Kennedy and Shay, I must say, are giving Sam and Mason a run for their money at being favorite couple!!
