Well what can I say. Thought it couldn't get any better after Carter Reed, but, I was wrong. Carter Reed 2 was equally as good. Love Carter so much. The perfect bad boy/mega hot mob boss. Love, the love and devotion Emma and Carter have for each other. They really are soulmates. Emma chooses Carter over all else, including family and friends when it comes to the crunch. WOW!!! Does Carter Reed get any hotter?
The first installment of Carter Reed gives you an ending without a cliffhanger so I had thought that was the end of Carter and Emma's story but I was so glad it wasn't.
This book takes you more into the life Carter had before Emma had come to him looking for help. You get to see Carter the Cold Killer and what lengths he will go to protect what is his when it is threatened. After reading this all I can say is more Carter and Emma please. ☺️ I couldn't put the book down and was surprised by who betrayed Carter. I really liked Cole and hope to see him more as well. Thanks Tijan for a great story!

I love Carter Reed and Emma! They are a hot dangerous sweet couple! ;) I love mafia books and this us different and it's got a great appeal! Plus I believe that Tijan did a wonderful job with this book and I just love it!
