A funny, heart-warming, sexy, smoldering-hot, coming-of-age, friends-to-lovers, story that is pure Tijan. Jam-packed full of drama, angst, emotional complexity, intriguing characters, swoon-worthy guys, and a refreshingly different MC that you can't help rooting for, Anti-Stepbrother is a triumph.

I devoured this book as if it was my fav chocolate cake - I just couldn't get enough. Tijan writes seriously amazing book boyfriends. What I really liked about Caden was that he was a genuinely good guy. Yes, we are told he was a bad boy before, but we didn't see any of that here, and I just loved that. He was a sweet, caring guy through and through.

Summer was a fantastic character, although it did take me a little while to warm up to her. But as her character developed and matured, and she became more confident in herself, I really enjoyed how different she was. I cringed for her at times - she was very socially inept on occasions - but it was surprisingly endearing. What she ever saw in that douche Kevin is beyond me. We are given an explanation toward the end that is plausible, but I would have happily jumped into my Kindle to shake some sense into her on plenty of occasions.

I enjoyed the slow-burning romance and the chemistry was great between our two mains. Caden was so protective of Summer and it melted my heart. The romantic scenes were great, and so well written (pure Tijan.)

I also liked the subplot with Colton, and I enjoy novels that incorporate important educational aspects once they tie well into the plot and are realistically handled, as was the case here. Colton was a great character and Caden's interactions with his brother only strengthened my love for him.

I loved the college setting and all the drama and angst - totally right up my street.

All in all, this was a fantastic read. If you are a Tijan fan, you will love it. If you aren't - why the heck not?

I absolutely love tijan but this book was over the top. How can you not love college stories or a girl who picks the wrong guy?

Summer is starting college where her stepbrother is at. She learns the hard way things are not as she had hoped. While getting away from her stepbrother she literally runs into Caden.
