I received this book from a fellow reader who wanted to "share the love".

I hadn't read the blurb but as it was Tijan, I went blind armed with faith. To my utmost delight, I got what I call the "Other Tijan", not the Fallen Crest Tijan but the writer of Davy Harwood. Yes it's fantasy as the title should have let me know.

That old addage, good versus Evil, Angels and Demons, who will win? I Have to begin by saying that paranormal is a genre i don't read often, not because i don't like it, but i always find it that bit harder to really connect with. In this instance, that totally changed. I was instantly hooked, especially by the two main characters, Shay and Kellan. Never mind the fact that Kellan is a demon, he was hot, mysterious, and damned Sexy. Never mind the fact that Kellan is a demon, he was hot, mysterious, and damned Sexy. Battling with his inner self and his history, to protect those he loved at all costs. His devotion to Shay, was panty melting even though it was a love that should never be. Shay was an amazing heroine, having to deal with so many changes and learn so much about herself in such a short time. Yet through every twist and turn Tijan gave us, every sit on the edge of your seat moment, your caught deep into this story and do not want to escape. You want to stand right beside this couple and dive right into battle with them. Utterly fantastic read, pure escapism, and characters that just come alive for you. If you haven't delved into paranormal books before i would highly recommend picking this one up !! It really is more than just a read, it's a captivating and exciting adventure !!!
