I loved this!!! I was kept on my toes the entire time! As I say time and time again, I love drama, I love angst, I love suspense; I am such a drama queen!
I have had this book on my TBR for way too long. I'm glad though because book 2 comes out in a few days. I was surprised at how much I absolutely loved this. I love Carter Reed! Carter Reed. Wow. This book had everything. Action, drama, crime, love, lust . You name it I basically felt it. From the first page I was hooked. You jump right in and everything from that point on is played out without any questions left in my head. I didn't want it to end. Todo el libro me mantuvo al borde, TODO o bueno casi .-. que onda con el final estuvo "bien" pero creo que podria estar mejor y daba para mucho mas.
Es mas daba para un libro dos!
La historia fue bien entretenida y compleja aunque quedaron partes inconclusas para mi, como lo fue la historias de los protagonistas secundarios.
Creo que este es el libro debut de Tijan y vi mucho talento en él, confio en que sus proximos trabajos valgan mas de 5 estrellas. ...more

Tijan is amazing and a mastermind when it comes to writing. I have read everything that has been available to purchase or read for free by Tijan and once again I am not disappointed. Carter Reed was amazing. I started it and did not put it down until I was finished with it. love all of the stories by Tijan and this one is just as good as the rest. Carter is hot, strong, bossy, and super protective. Emma is a survivor, loyal, feisty, and yes at times she got on my nerves but so did Carter when he would constantly say Emma. The action and suspense were high in this book which I enjoyed, I loved the chemistry between the characters. There were sad moments and memories and fun girl moments with Amanda and Theresa. I can’t wait to read book 2.
As with all the Tijan books I have read, this book kept me hooked until the end. I love that about her writing. Sometime I want a book that keeps me entertained without all the angst. That being said....the writing in this book was cheesy and sometimes I was thinking, really? This by far wasnt the best book I have read (reason for the 4 stars instead of 5) but I couldnt mark it down because every page kept me wanting more.
