A fantastic and brutal read
I had just finished reading All the Ugly and Wonderful Things, the went on to read Educated.
Reminds me that as difficult it can be for some to read these sort of books, people really live these lives.
While one is fiction and the other is true. Life can be pretty gritty. It doesn't make the story wrong.
We don't all grow up in white bread suburbia with 2 parents who care about us, or with all the security that living in America is thought to provide.

I couldn't "like" the book. Made me cringe frequently and gasp out loud at least once. But am glad to have read it.
