What Members Thought

I finished reading A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith this afternoon. I really loved this story. It had a similar feel to The Glass Castle, but the parents were much more competent. I loved Francie Nolan. She was so full of life and I loved her desire for education. She was at her best as a little girl, but she got a little more annoying as she became a teenager. Though, if I went back and looked at my thoughts as a teenager, I was probably annoying too, haha.
