What Members Thought
(Solid 3.5) A novel based on the life of a fascinating woman Beryl Markham. She was the first woman to obtain a horse trainer's license and to fly a plane across the Atlantic...and an overall bada$%. Her life was pretty inspirational and she never took no for an answer. Many of her relationships failed, particularly her marriages and some of her friendships, but the writing felt very honest.
