Americanah by Chimamada Ngozi Adichie has left me a little bit speechless. It was so beautiful and I found myself completely in it's enthrall. It's a love story between Ifemelu and Obinze spanning Ifemelu's growing up in Nigeria, emigrating to the United States to complete her schooling and then after many years feeling the call to return home. Beautiful and heartbreaking although quite slow-moving. A harsh realization that one can be an outsider everywhere.
