Such a solid collection. About half of the stories I thought were truly excellent - including a story that everyone seems to think was terrible, 'Welcome to Your Life and Congratulations'. I loved the ending of that one - the ways that all the birth, life, death moments came together in this really wickedly hilarious and disturbing way. That ending alone made up for the couple of stories I yawned through.

Pretty weird. Definitely the most original and diverse short story collection which I've read. My favourites were safe passage (grandma's who were on a boat after they died), Catch and release (about a girl who meets a ghost in the woods) and Magniqulioance (typical science conference). I don't know why it's not 5* because it is really, really good but maybe some were 10* while others were only 5*.
