What Members Thought
3.5 stars, rounded up. There are three stories here: the historical society of Heloise and Abelard, and two fictional ones, Rachel's in WWII France and Rachel and Father Michael's in 1950's New York City. All are well done and interesting, pulled together by the author through the writings of Abelard. There is a bit more "preaching" than I would have liked, hence the rating. (Not that his ideas were all bad in my opinion.)
