This was a fun, quick read featuring sweet-yet-lethal 88 year old Maude and plenty of schadenfreude if you enjoy insufferable villains getting their comeuppance, and who doesn't once in a while? I laughed especially loudly at (view spoiler)

I thought this would have a little humor in the stories and maybe it was lost in translation but in the end it just didn't work for me personally. It's more of a 2.5 stars than 2 but I just couldn't bring myself to 3 stars, it ended up being just ok. But it was a very quick read, and Maud is crafty and very smart in the execution of her killings.

the narration of this book is good and I enjoyed the short stories of an elderly woman who will brook no disturbance to her life. I t was a very quick and easy read but I am not tempted to read more about the elderly lady
Relatos aislados sobre una anciana que vive sola en un amplio departamento en Suecia. Maud siempre fue independiente y no tiene un pelo de tonta pero puede simular lo contrario si necesita pasar desapercibida o salirse con la suya. Lectura corta y divertida (siempre y cuando no hagamos enojar a esta viejita).
