The main plot of this play features a rebellion against King Henry IV which s eventually quashed. The king subsequently dies and his son Hal is crowned King Henry V. Scenes featuring the king and his sons alternate with scenes featuring Falstaff and his companions as they engage in merrymaking, drinking and cursing.

I guess it's almost too on brand for me to be like "Could we have way less of this particular dude and way more of these women in this story please."
Okay, look. The histories are just never going to be my faves. They tend to be drier, definitely less fun than the comedies and less moving (in general, with some exceptions) than the tragedies.
