A real page turner. Pure high fantasy, overflowing with magic, epic battles, complete with damsel-in-distress, an evil queen, dynastic intrigue, a corrupted court, idyllic peasants, and of course, romance. I was really loving this. Then about 40 percent through, I started to get bored. It changed from mystery and learning magic to political stuff. I also did not like the writing style that much.
