Character driven
When I’m Gone has all the right elements to suck you in to the story and not let loose until it’s over. In fact, when it’s over you are probably going to be pretty angry that there isn’t any more. It doesn’t matter where a story like this ends, you are left unsatisfied because you are so invested in the characters that you really need to know what is next.

Book club read for January 2017 I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did. But once I started I couldn't stop reading I must say that ending though while it was right for the story I wish it had been a closed ending in place of open ended. I could see this turned into a lifetime movie. That's what it reminded me of.
