One of my favorite recent reads. So why not 5 stars? I suppose because I'd just read The Bay at Noon, and preferred that one, and was expecting to like Transit every bit as much. I'm not sure why I do not. Because the plot is more important in Transit, and seems more to determine how characters behave? Anyway, Transit is an excellent novel, and a rewarding study of character and class. ...more
