Just to get it out of the way, I'd like to give The Silent Patient credit for one thing: this book is compulsively readable and extremely fast. I did read it in a day. I don't personally feel like readability is the highest weighted element in my personal book-enjoyment index, but I do like to acknowledge it, because I'm sure it takes talent to write that way.

This is a really good book. I don't normally read murder mystery type books, but I heard this was good and it was picked for my book club and I'm glad it was. Very interesting. Good plot twist. But different from a lot of other books like this.

Really twisty-turny mystery. I was worried there might be some gore surrounding the murder, but there wasn't. I really liked how this turned out and would highly recommend.
