I really, really wanted to like this.
Unfortunately, in the end, I simply found it "ok".
It started off really good, but then midway it just...became not good.
And the end... whew... by the last 50 or so pages, I was just struggling to finish.
Truly sad that I didn't like this book more. Lots of potential, but I just couldn't stick with the storytelling choices the author made. ...more
