4.5 stars. I am just loving the Neapolitan Trilogy so much. It is somehow different from a lot of what I read in tone and structure, but just absolutely captivating. The "frenemy" relationship between Lenu and Lila is something I can relate to, but the world they live in is completely different. This will probably sound odd, but in a way, it reminds me a grown-up, Italian re-visit to A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. It is very intense reading.
