The book was interesting, weaving physics into a novel but the main character was hard to like. I almost dropped it halfway when I really didn't care what happened but then the end picked up and I was glad I finished it. Well written but hard to enjoy.

not my favourite Ian McEwan book there is more depth in the detail than in the actual story line.
After focusing on re-reading the Game of Thrones series the past month, I was looking for something a little different. So glad I picked Solar. I've had to look up five definitions already. Love it!
