This was good but not up to the last few in this series in my opinion. The mystery was decent but I didn't feel super connected to any of the "victims" of this one, although gruesome as ever. There just wasn't as much in the personal area either. And I'm now really struggling with why Peabody is her assistant if she can so easily be replaced. I guess I would love to see Peabody come a little into her own and come up with a great theory on one of the murders that Eve allows her to run with. She i

I loved this editioin of the "In death" series as much for the way it really brought the characters in Eve's life and work to life. From baby Bella and her painting to the awe of peabody as she gets to go to the oscars. The people in Eve's life are as important as the latest murders which once again hit a new method of perpetration.
