I enjoyed the premise of this story but found that it did not draw me in from the beginning. I felt the story dragged on before we got to the traveling. I know that there is supposed to be character development and yet I didn't feel like I truly knew the characters.
I felt the traveling was a bit rushed once we reached that section. This was a book club book and I think I can getting a little tired of reading the same kind of books in our library book club.
