I think this book exemplifies why it's risky to rely on descriptions, whether from the publisher or from a reviewer. I loved it, but almost every description I read (which I tend to do when I'm halfway through or done) made me wonder if they read past the first fifty pages. Or if they just copy what other people wrote.

I do not understand why anyone reading this thinks it is hilarious. I certainly didn't, although for about the first half I found it a compelling read and didn't think it would end up as a 3 star read. I don't know whether I just got bored with the generally shallow characters, or couldn't connect with any of them enough to care too much what happened them. It was an easy read, and I never thought of abandoning it, but meh. ...more

I just couldn't finish this book. I got to page 77 and dislike all the characters so much I just couldn't stomach continuing. I don't like that they use another language without the translation (although I can figure out what it means by context clues, it is still somewhat annoying). I also don't like the "funny" parts, I haven't found any of it funny. Guess I just don't get it.
