Let’s start with Me Before you. I didn’t like that book either much but it was ok, just overrated. This one I really didn’t get at all. Relation between Lou and Lily was fine but the rest not really.
It looked like write enjoyed twisting Lou’s life in any possible way. Engaging her in lots of misfortune just to tell we need to be grateful for whatever life offers to us. I don’t think so.

I enjoyed the little side story with Lou's mom and dad but that's about it. Lily was the WORST.

Not as good as the first book, but not a bad read. I was unsure whether to read it or not but it was nice to revisit Louisa and see how things were working out for her. I'll probably read the next one.

Not quite 4 stars, but certainly close. It's so very difficult to write a sequel that lives up to the expectations of the readers of a book like Me Before You. There's a lot to like about this one; the author stays true to Lou's character and to those of her family, there's humor and sadness, and unexpected twists. Well done.

I loved seeing the aftermath of the first book and how the characters grow. You really do get to love these characters.

This book was a bummer to me. The ending. That's all I can say. Still love Louisa though.

I love Jojo Moyes writing. Although this wasn't as good as Me Before You it was definitely worth reading and I liked the new characters.
