I was a little nervous when I started King's Cage. I read Glass Sword in 2 years ago and didn't remember a lot about it. I was thinking of doing a re-read of the first two books, but after reading the first chapter of the first book, I got impatient and decided to start this one.

3.5* I wanted to love this so much more than I did. It was entertaining, & I enjoyed getting to know the characters more, especially Maven & Evangeline, but the beginning dragged & I felt frustrated by the end. I'm hoping the next book resolves some things. I kind of want to rip my hair out. I don't see how this can end well.
