All three of the Boonsboro books are 3 1/2 stars; I liked this one best. Norah Roberts is an author whose books I used to devour and made a long detour from. Glad I happened to see these and picked them up from my library. Once in a while, a nice romance is just what I need. Even if I know what the ending will be, it's fun getting there when Roberts is leading the way.

This was a great ending to the trilogy. It was a bit predictable, but in a nice warm fuzzy kind of way. I enjoyed the bit of a history lesson around the Civil War as well.

I enjoyed this story but felt it fell short of the other two in this trilogy. I didn't feel there was much in the way of these two in their love story. Really enjoyed the ghost aspect though...

This was so good. Why did I put off reading it for so long? Oh yeah, because I love this world and these characters and didn't want it to end. I want to hang out with these people and be their friend.
Nora Roberts can wrap up a trilogy nicely. Even the ghost bit (which so made me cry) got an ending. This is the kind of book that could convince me I like romance books. I just think Nora Roberts writes unicorns. ...more

Fun ending to the series. I like that she wrapped up the ghost love story and really even the mother's love story. Nice break reading.

Not my favourite of the series, but Ryder did grow on me a little, and I liked that Lizzie got an "ending" to her story.

A great series by Nora set in a small Maryland town, based in the hotel owned by Nora herself.
