Nikki is a British-born Punjabi/Sikh Indian living slightly apart from a tight community of Punjabi Sikhs. A law-school dropout with interest in feminism, she commutes to the traditional community to supplement her bartender income as an under-qualified creative writing instructor for an all-female class.

This was a fun read! It was a great story and provided some background and information on the Indian culture that I loved learning.
