What Members Thought
Hmmm... like other reviewers, I'm really not sure how I feel about this novel. Definitely divided about the whole thing.
What I liked:
- Premise. Definitely different from the usual YA fantasy fare.
- World Building. Despite being in an alternative universe kind of place, the world setup seemed logical and reasonable to me. I could set aside reality and could believe that a world like this existed.
- Politics. Loved that it was full of backstabbing, scheming politics. Very fun!
