They is well written sometimes Sardonic and certainly captured my imagination. An illicit love affair and a missing girl is merely the start of this book which moves backwards and forwards in time. The story of what happened to that girl is unravelled across the two time periods but not everything adds up. There is a a lot of repetition as the story is told through the actions of different characters and this does get a little annoying at times - hence the 4 not 5 stars. I listened to this book ...more
