I loved this book. I got it as a gift a year ago, but have not touched it, til after Christmas this year. But when I started reading it, I was sorry I'd drug my feet for so long. I felt like Donald Miller was often reading directly from my own mind--so many similar ideas and ways of expressing himself. My favorite line was where he described being introverted as being one of those screwdrivers that you charge for 24 hours in order to use it for 10 minutes. I felt that was a perfect description.

I was intrigued by the title, so I picked up this book. As a non-Christian spiritual person, I am sometimes leary of preachy-type books. This one is far from it. Very thought-provoking and a look at another person's spiritual journey. I found it hard to put down.

For me this book was very liberating. I really don't fit in with the American Christian stereotype and felt like maybe this a good thing after reading this book.

His stories are so funny and then all of a sudden they just hit you with the depth of his meaning. I've also heard him twice and he is a fantastic public speaker!
