A common sense guide to becoming an adult from the insightful and relatable author of the Adulting blog, Kelly Williams Brown. Five stars for her voice alone! I did expect this to be much more jokey and humorous, rather than the way she addressed real issues. And while I would have enjoyed more humor, I was pleasantly surprised with her advice on everything from making mashed potatoes to setting up a 401k. Ps...the "k" stands for koala. :)

This had some nice nuggets of wisdom in it. Easy to read and well-organized, covering a range of topics. I would recommend to a young adult just starting out. I wish I had read it back in my 20s instead of now when I'm almost 40.

I was hoping this was way more humorous and less actual life lessons for self improvement.
