A nameless driver is struck white-blind for no obvious reason, and needs help to get his car out of an intersection and find his way home. This problem will seem trivial when we learn that the struck-blind phenomenon is highly contagious, and leads to an epidemic, which leads to a dystopian nightmare. (Perhaps "nightmare" is redundant when applied to a "dystopia" but you get the idea.)

Apocalypse story or deep parable? It's both. Lots to learn and speculate about what things mean. Definitely worth the read.
