This is the sort of book I dream of "happening upon" the kind that makes the next three you attempt fall flat... the proverbial book hangover. The writing is lyrical and perfect for both the comtemporary reader and the time and place. Ms Miller even smooths the way for the reader who has no knowledge of The Odessey.
