What Members Thought
Nice read! Not quite worthy of the accolades I’d read, I still enjoyed the story of Circe, her life on Aiaia, and all the interwoven stories and references to other Greek characters and legends. Circe’s story is quite sad and her solitude striking. I wonder how readers who don’t know Greek mythology feel about the book. Definitely sparked my interest even though it was an easy book to put down.
An interesting, and in-depth, look at one of the figures of mythology. Really compelling story. Enjoyed it a lot.
