I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I had seen mixed reviews on this one and went into it willing to put it down, but to my pleasant surprise I ended up enjoying it.

The book has a lot of cool stuff going for it, in fact it's almost a kitchen sink-type of mishmash. There's an extra-dimensional Library, with Librarians working field operations by retrieving rare and unique copies of books, a bit like Kage Baker's immortal cyborgs. Took a month to finish this book, it was just painful. I did not enjoy this at all but since I don't DNF, I trudged on. This book was "chaos-infested literally" - too busy. ...more
