Yes, I'd seen the movies and heard the poems, but I'd never actually read the book. So I remedied that. It was fun and was probably more fun when it was first written. But where was the Jabberwock? And Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum? And the unbirthday party? And the walrus and the carpenter? I enjoyed this beautifully illustrated book. A nice big hardback copy of this wonderful story.

This was a quick, fun read! I remember enjoying the movie as a child, but had never read the book. While I think I enjoy the movie more, it was fun to be reintroduced to the characters and then meet some more that are not included in the movie.

This book was a huge disappointment to me, as it is utterly ridiculous! I've read a lot of silly children's books to my kids, but I have to say I'm glad this wasn't one of them.
