I. Loved. This. Book!!! Folklore, feminism, freezing (I was trying to keep the "f" theme alive)... Vasya may be my favorite heroine since Buffy, and that's a tough character to live up to in terms of badassness. And, lo and behold, somebody wrote a strong female heroine that doesn't have a love interest! It can be done, people!!
