I listened to the audiobook of My Sister's Keeper and am not entirely convinced it worked...if I could give it 3.5 stars, I would. The story is told by multiple narrators and there were multiple readers to correspond with each character (good thing) but because the story is not told in a linear fashion and each narrator bounces back and forth between the present situation and past-tense flashbacks that either pertain to the story or that person's personality and actions as a character, sometimes

I decided to read this book when I saw the movie preview. I truly enjoyed the book and couldn't put it down. I liked the writing style of this book, which is odd b/c I don't tend to like books that jump around the way this does. I never could decide who I was rooting for, even after I finished the last page.

This is the first Jodi Picoult book I read and I will now read everything she rights no matter what! This heartbreaking story of two sisters and the struggle between their different wants and needs had me weeping like a small child the entire final chapter of the book!
Powerful..gets each voice 'just right'
