What Members Thought
Book 2 is waaayyyyy better than book one, but not without issues for me. Much better world building, yet still a few things that made me pause and say “huh?”
Also, much better character and relationship development between Fayre and Rhysand. Didn’t buy the vibes between her and Tamlin much in book one—felt like they came out of nowhere. She had more chemistry with Lucien than Tamlin IMO. (Which is fine because Tamlin pretty much sucks so far anyway.)
On to book three and we’ll see.

I had a really hard time rating this book. I liked the plot and the twists and turns and all that. Rhysand's crew is amazing and are a big part of what I liked about this book. But I literally found myself rolling my eyes at the romance. Why does every romance need to be the ultimate thing ever to have happened? Can't a fantasy book just have a relationship that slowly grows without some kind of catch making it the greatest thing ever? I'm sure I'll eventually read the next book in the series be
