Good book. As a female, and honestly as a human being, it made my skin crawl, especially in the beginning because you can see what she doesn't and what she is getting into since the story jumps from past to present so much. But I just finished the last half in one day and couldn't wait to finish it in the last fourth to see how she gets away. There are something about the ending that I don't think the police would just accept so easily but I can't help but keep going over the details in the end

It is going to be very hard to rate this book. The author has created just the right atmosphere, the chill and the danger in Grace's life. The two sides of Jack the menace of his character. BUT i hated it I did not want to read it. It was too real. I don't think i want the pictures this book created in my mind but then you have to say that the penmanship was good if it could create that unease. I really don't know that i can say i enjoyed it because i really really did not and I will never read

Not for the faint of heart! I came close to putting it away many times, especially in the early chapters.
This was an amazing book.. a page turner and what a plot twist. I couldn't put it down!

This one got under my skin. I can't really say I enjoyed it because the story line is pretty unpleasant, but I had to finish it to know what happened.
