I have to think about what i want to say about this powerful book. It is so well written and the narrative pulls at the reader I can understand why it has become such a classic read. I am ashamed to say I had never heard of it before choosing to read it for a challenge a long while ago. I also put it off time and again but cannot understand why. It is difficult to explain its pull but it definitely had one
