Witty, silly, charming, and entirely superficial fluff about a Flora, a London sophisticate, moving in with her brutish country family at Cold Comfort Farm - and changing their lives forever.

I did not like Flora first - I was bored by her boredom, left cold by her coldness, annoyed by her choosing dependence over independence. She was superficial and meddlesome. But it turns out that Cold Comfort Farm needs a good bit of meddling and a dose of charm to rescue the inhabitants from under Aunt Ada
