I'm having a hard time rating this book-maybe a 2.5. I didn't like the first half of the book-I had such a hard time picking it up to read that I read two other books before I finished the second half. I loved the second half and felt like it was the topics Moriarty does best. I'm glad I read this book, but it wasn't my favorite Moriarty.

I had a hard time with this one unfortunately. With the ambiguous and unreliable characters and waiting for the tragedy to be vocalized, it was a slower read for me leading this to be more of a 2.5 stars than 3 stars read for me.
This was my least favorite moriarty book. It was a typical beach read. But coming back to review it a month later I had to read the description to remember what it was about. The characters all were ok but not great. None of them grabbed me, except the ones that were barely in the book. This was the perfect book to read while I had the flu because I could sail through it with little attachment and nap when I wanted to. I had really looked forward to this book, and was ultimately disappointed.
